    When you're ready, set aside 90 minutes of uninterrupted time to complete the assessment and review your answers before submitting. You will know immediately if you have passed, or not. You have 3 attempts to pass the exam.

FAQ

  • How long does it take to get certified?

    In order to get certified, you must pass an online assessment. Each assessment has a time limit, which may vary by certification level. For example, the Core certification assessment is limited to 90 minutes.

  • Do I have to get Core Certified before I can get Advanced and Expert certified?

    Yes. JumpCloud certifications build upon each other. You must pass the preceding certification assessment(s) before moving on to the next. More information about additional assessments is coming soon.

  • How should I prepare for the assessment?

    Each certification has a study guide which provides details about the assessment. Review the study guide to make sure you know what topics to expect. For each certification, you’ll also see recommended courses from JumpCloud University that correlate to the assessment. We recommend a combination of practical experience within your JumpCloud Admin Portal and self-paced course work through JumpCloud University to help you prepare for each assessment.

  • What happens if I pass or fail the assessment?

    Each certification has a specific passing score requirement. If you meet or exceed the passing score, you will receive a certificate and a badge to validate your JumpCloud certification! If you do not meet the passing score, you have the option to retake the assessment. You can take the assessment up to 3 times. You cannot take an assessment more than once in a 24 hour period.   • How much does it cost to get certified?

    The Core assessment fee is $150, which includes up to three attempts. If you do not pass the assessment after three attempts, please contact us at [email protected]. NOTE: All assessment fees are currently waived.
