We have certifications tailored to our Partners. The Sales Professional Certification will help you with presenting the business benefits of the JumpCloud platform, and the Core Certification for Partners will give you foundational knowledge of the JumpCloud platform.

Advanced Certification

Advanced certification is a great way for admins who have already implemented JumpCloud and who are managing daily operations of their JumpCloud open directory to level up their expertise. In addition to tasks and features covered in Core certification, candidates for Advanced certification deal with more complex implementations & deployments.

Choose Your Certification Learning Path

Depending upon your level of experience with the JumpCloud Open Directory platform, you may choose to take the Core or Advanced certification. If you have hands-on experience with the platform or have completed the Advanced Certification Learning Path you may opt to take the Advanced certification. Choose the certification path you wish to complete from the learning paths we offer below:


FAQs

  • How long does it take to get through the learning paths?

    Each learning path will take approximately 12-15 hours to complete, depending upon your personal level of experience in JumpCloud and reading speed. You are not required to run through all the courses in the learning paths, but we do recommend taking the practice assessment to identify topics and courses you may need to review.

  • How long will the actual exams take to complete?

    Each assessment has a total of 60 multiple-choice, multiple select & matching questions. Some questions award partial credit for partially correct questions. We give you 90 minutes to complete the Core and Advanced exams.

  • How long are the practice exams?

    Each practice exam has a total of only 45 questions, unlike the actual exam. Since the numbers of questions are less, you'll have a total of 60 minutes to complete either the Core, or Advanced certification practice exams.

  • If I fail the first time, how many attempts do I have?

    You have a total of 3 attempts to pass either assessment. If you fail, we only ask you wait 24 hours before retaking the exam. If you fail upon your third and final attempt, we ask that you email our team at [email protected] to request an additional attempt.

  • Is there an associated fee to take either certification?

    Yes. The fee for the Core certification is $99. Whereas, the fee for the Advanced certification is $199.

  • Do the certifications expire?

    Yes. The Core certification expires 2 years from the date you earn it, and the Advanced certification expires 3 years from the date you earn it. We will offer a renewal certification course in 2025 to renew your certifications. The renewal course has a $49 fee.

  • I completed and passed my Core Certification in 2022, or prior to 2022. Where can I find my certification?
